Responsibilities: The advert points to support a young person who communicates in British Sign Language, so a BSL level 2 qualification is required, children and young people with complex medical conditions in order to maintain health and support access to the curriculum, be competent in the delivery of tasks to support daily living which can include tracheotomy care and suction, catheterisation, support for children that are oxygen dependent and the delivery of individualised feeding programmes, and provide support and guidance to support staff in the delivery of tasks to support specific health conditions, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
