Responsibilities: The advert points to support this opportunity, The employer is seeking an ambitious Business Development Consultant to help originate and convert new consulting opportunities across our priority public sector markets and our growth priorities Driving outbound activity: meetings, referrals, networks, events and insight-led engagement Qualifying opportunities with commercial judgment, right to win, route to market and next steps Progressing opportunities through the sales cycle with pace, structure and discipline Building trusted relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and partners Working closely with consulting leads to shape compelling, deliverable propositions Maintaining high-quality pipeline visibility and contributing to governance forums Based in a England-wide role with a strong focus on the Eastern Corridor (West Yorkshire through the East Midlands and East of England, into Greater London and the South East), you’ll spend the majority of your time engaging externally, prospecting, qualifying and shaping opportunities that matter, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
