Specialist Nurse - Gynaecology and Endometriosis with Spire Healthcare in Wirral, are is a people-focused role involving work to join team within Outpatients Department on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities: The advert points to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway at Spire Murrayfield, prioritise workload and respond to changing needs of the service, whilst identifying and managing any risks to quality, provide treatments and procedures according to local and national policies, and work flexibly within the outpatient department to ensure specialist gynaecological care, advice and teaching, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring to be responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of specialist nursing care for patients considering or undertaking Gynaecological surgery To utilise research-based specialist knowledge of Gynaecological Surgery, Endometriosis, physiology and post-operative care to plan, organise and evaluate patient care Advise patients, relatives and carers on post operative care, To develop own knowledge and practice and actively assist others to continually professionally develop, To identify and communicate key issues to the Outpatient Manager Who 're looking for: NMC registered Nurse – No restrictions on pin Significant surgical experience at a senior level Understanding and experience of care of patients undergoing gynaecology & Endometrial surgery Experience of working within teams and carrying case load, and Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes Benefits offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
