Responsibilities: The advert points to be discussed at interview) Interview Date: To be confirmed If you are passionate about wanting to make a difference in people’s lives and are committed to developing a community, then we want to hear from you for our Project Support Worker opportunity, Clients can access direct support from our Support Staff, as well as from third-party service providers including Housing, Drug and Alcohol Services, Nurses, and Mental Health teams, The post holder will be intentional about integrating the homelessness and addictions work with the wider life of our Church, and achieve successful outcomes Facilitate regular client meetings, completing and updating individual support plans as required Provide relevant and suitable options of external support provision, when identified support needs cannot be met through in-house provision The successful candidate(s) will have: Previous experience of working in a setting supporting vulnerable clients with knowledge of common support pathways The Ability to use your initiative in problem solving for the benefit of clients and colleagues The ability to understand and successfully implement processes, procedures and policies related to your area of work Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information to clients in a clear, concise manner and be able to work within the Christian Ethos of The Salvation Army, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
